If a tempting aroma wafts through our guesthouse, it’s likely due to one of two delightful scenarios: option A, Mama Michaela is working her magic and conjuring up an irresistible evening meal, or option B, daughter Emma has fired up the mixer and is baking one of her delicious cakes for the breakfast buffet. Either way, a tasty adventure awaits!
What’s the best way to start the day up here in the mountains? With a generous breakfast in our guesthouse near Val Pusteria of course! Our generous breakfast buffet features not only fresh, local products such as crusty bread, home-made jams, and honey from the neighbouring beekeeper, as well as a wide selection of cheeses, fine cold cuts, yoghurt, muesli and fresh chicken eggs. Sometimes, we even serve eggs from our own quails. Homemade pastries, a carefully selected range of teas, fruit juices and freshly brewed coffee round off the morning delights.
On request, we also provide lactose-free, gluten-free and vegetarian options.
For guests in our holiday apartments, we also offer a bread delivery service – advance booking required.
In the evening, the Langwieserhof kitchen is in full swing once more, and host Michaela treats you to a delicious 3-course menu as part of the half board. A varied salad buffet is also available daily.
Fresh, seasonal ingredients as well as vegetables and herbs from our own garden find their way into Michaela’s pots and are lovingly turned into flavourful dishes with a hint of magic.
*Note on half board: From the beginning of May to the end of October, no evening meal is served on Thursdays. Any dinner not taken will be deducted from the final invoice
Pssst … in the summer months sociable barbecue evenings on the terrace of our breakfast guesthouse invite you to linger and enjoy. With a glass of local wine in hand, it’s the perfect way to round off a holiday day.
